Agreement for Repair

- 1.1 The terms set out in these Conditions of Repair (“Agreement”) shall apply to the service we provide to repair your electronic device, mobile phone, game system, laptop, or desktop computer.
- 1.2 References to “us,” “we,” and “our” refer to Tech Guru LLC, and references to “you” and “your” refer to you, the person addressed on this form.

2.1 This Agreement shall commence from the date you sign and apply to all future repairs you may have completed through Tech Guru LLC. This agreement is connected to your store account for future repairs.
2.2 We shall make all reasonable efforts to repair your Equipment, subject to the availability of any parts required and/or the terms of any relevant guarantee or warranty. We shall perform the Services using our reasonable care and skill.
2.3 We carry out diagnostics on your device before repair and will contact you if our diagnosis differs from your initial description of faults. We accept no responsibility for unseen internal damage at the start of diagnosis, whether due to previous repair, drop damage, liquid damage, or other circumstances beyond our control.
2.4 Water and drop-damaged devices that are partially functioning may, during the course of diagnosis or repair, become inoperable due to unseen damage and movement of required components during repair. We will not be held responsible for a device becoming beyond economical repair during assessment or repair unless damaged through negligence or willful misconduct.
2.5 Estimated Time of Completion
Any time estimate provided for completion of the Service is an estimation only. Due to potential delays in parts availability, unforeseen technical issues, or high demand, we can never fully guarantee a turnaround time. We will keep you informed of any significant changes to the estimated timeline.
2.6 We shall notify you when the Equipment has been repaired and is available for collection. If you do not collect the Equipment within 90 days of notification, we may dispose of the Equipment. Any amount obtained on disposal will be used to meet any unpaid estimate or repair charges you are liable to pay, and any remaining balance will be sent to you or remain payable by you accordingly.
2.7 If we are unable to complete the Service for any reason, or if the Service will incur further costs payable by you, we will notify you immediately.
2.8 Our out-of-warranty/chargeable repairs are guaranteed for 90 days from the date the Equipment is ready for collection. If the same fault re-occurs, we will repair it free of charge. If the Equipment develops an additional fault unrelated to the original repair, the repair warranty will not apply.
2.9 We may, in certain circumstances, send your Equipment to another repair center and sub-contract the repair work to a third party.
2.10 All charges will be subject to VAT and any other applicable government taxes or duties.
2.11 We are a third-party repair center, and our actions on your device may void the manufacturer’s warranty and insurance cover. We will not be held responsible for this.
Terms for Warranty Repairs

3.1 Where repair is to be carried out under a relevant guarantee or warranty, we may ask you to provide sufficient proof of any guarantee or warranty.
3.2 If your Equipment is beyond economic repair, we may, at our discretion, replace your Equipment with a suitable equivalent rather than carry out repair work.
3.3 If the repair falls outside the terms of your warranty or guarantee, you may incur a charge for the repair under the terms set in clause 4. We will notify you of any such charge before undertaking any work.
3.4 If you provide misinformation to Tech Guru LLC regarding the age of your device, resulting in an expired warranty, Tech Guru LLC may charge a $25.00 diagnosis fee.

Additional Terms for Chargeable Repairs

4.1 If the repair is not covered by a guarantee or warranty, we will charge you for the repair according to the terms of this Agreement.
4.2 The cost of repair will be calculated where possible in accordance with our standard charges.
4.3 Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required before initiating any diagnostic or repair work. This deposit covers initial assessment and labor costs and will be applied toward the final repair cost. If the repair is declined or the Equipment is deemed beyond economical repair, this deposit will not be refunded.
4.4 If the Equipment is not generally supported by us, Equipment repairs are sub-contracted, or the repair is outside our standard rates, we will provide an estimate, and we will not proceed without your acceptance of that estimate.
4.5 If we are unable to repair your Equipment, no fault is found, or you do not accept our estimate, we will return your Equipment unrepaired and may charge an inspection fee according to our standard charges.
4.6 We may retain your Equipment until all charges are paid. We may also charge an additional storage fee for unclaimed Equipment.
Warranty on Parts

5.1 Samsung, Pixel, and Motorola Screens
- Tech Guru LLC does not use aftermarket screens for Samsung, Pixel, or Motorola devices. These screens come with a “TG Lifetime” warranty, which covers manufacturer defects but excludes:
- Signs of Abuse: Evidence of mishandling, such as hard drops, impact damage, or excessive force.
- Deep Scratches, Dents, or Nicks: Any external damage caused by improper handling.
- Liquid Damage: Exposure to moisture or water.
- Tampering or Unauthorized Repairs: If another shop or individual opens or works on the device after Tech Guru LLC’s service, the warranty is void.
- Improper Accessories: Use of incompatible or non-recommended accessories leading to damage.
5.2 TG Lifetime Warranty
- Applicable to Premium Aftermarket screens for phones and tablets.
- Covers manufacturer defects but excludes:
- Cracked glass, regardless of cause.
- Liquid damage or exposure.
- Induced damage, including lines or dots caused by external pressure or damage.
5.3 Samsung Z Flip and Z Fold Series Screens
- These screens come with a 90-day warranty against manufacturer defects. Exclusions include customer neglect, abuse, or induced damage as listed above.
5.4 Batteries
- All phone, tablet, and computer batteries come with a 6-month warranty starting at the time of installation.
5.5 Other Repairs
- Unless otherwise stated, all other repairs and parts are covered by a 90-day warranty against manufacturer defects from the time of installation.
5.6 Protection Pro Film
- Protection Pro Film comes with a Lifetime Warranty, provided the original film is returned to Tech Guru LLC for replacement.
5.7 CellHelmet and AmpSentrix Products
- All CellHelmet and AmpSentrix accessories are covered by a 60-day warranty against defects.
5.8 Warranty Limitations
- Warranties do not extend if a part is replaced under warranty.
- Tech Guru LLC reserves the right to void any warranty if the device is deemed to have been mishandled or damaged due to customer responsibility.
- Warranty coverage does not apply if another component within the device causes the failure of the replaced part.
5.9 Customer Neglect and Abuse
Warranties will be voided due to neglect or abuse, including but not limited to:
- Deep Scratches, Dents, or Nicks: Physical damage to the device caused by mishandling or improper care.
- Evidence of Drops or Impact: Signs of physical stress, such as cracked frames, bent housings, or damaged components from hard drops or impacts.
- Tampering or Unauthorized Repairs: If the device has been opened or modified by another shop, individual, or unauthorized technician.
- Exposure to Liquids: Any signs of water or liquid damage, including corrosion or residue.
- Improper Accessories: Damage caused by using non-compatible or third-party accessories not recommended for the device.
- Extreme Temperatures: Evidence of overheating, freezing, or other temperature-induced damage.
- Excessive Wear: Signs of excessive use or neglect beyond normal wear and tear.
Warranty Life Span

6.1 All Premium Aftermarket screens come with a Lifetime Warranty, except for Samsung Z Flip and Z Fold Series screens, which carry a 90-day warranty.
6.2 A Lifetime warranty is defined by the manufacturer’s lifespan for the device, generally one year from purchase.
6.3 Batteries carry a 6-month warranty from installation.
6.4 All other repairs, unless otherwise stated, have a 90-day warranty.
6.5 A warranty does not extend if a part is replaced under warranty.
6.6 Tech Guru LLC reserves the right to void any warranty if the device is deemed to have been mishandled or damaged due to customer responsibility or external factors.
6.7 Warranty coverage does not apply if another component within the device causes the failure of the replaced part.

– Extreme Temperatures: Evidence of overheating, freezing, or other temperature-induced damage.
– Excessive Wear: Indications of neglect or use beyond the device’s designed capabilities.
Apple “Non-Genuine” Message
- Apple “Non-Genuine” Message
7.1 Apple devices may display a “non-genuine” message after certain repairs performed by third-party service providers. This message does not affect the functionality of the repaired part(s) and is a result of Apple’s security measures. Tech Guru LLC shall not be held responsible for this message, and it shall not be considered a valid reason for refunds or warranty claims.
Third-Party Repair

8.1 Tech Guru LLC is an independent third-party repair establishment and holds no affiliation with any brands mentioned, including but not limited to Apple, Samsung, Pixel, or Motorola.
8.2 Tech Guru LLC provides repair services using high-quality parts sourced from reputable suppliers. However, please be aware that third-party repairs may void manufacturer warranties, and Tech Guru LLC shall not be held responsible for any such voided warranties.
Mail-In Repairs

9.1 Customers opting for mail-in repairs must provide tracking codes for shipment. It is strongly advised to use signature confirmation for added security.
9.2 Tech Guru LLC shall not be responsible for any lost or damaged packages during transit to or from our repair facility.
Warranty for Accessories

10.1 All CellHelmet and AmpSentrix products purchased through Tech Guru LLC come with a 60-day warranty against defects.
10.2 All charge cables and charging blocks sold by Tech Guru LLC are covered by a Lifetime Warranty.
10.3 Protection Pro Film: Protection Pro Film comes with a Lifetime Warranty, provided the original film is returned to Tech Guru LLC for replacement.
Device Purchases

11.1 Devices purchased through Tech Guru LLC are covered by a 6-month warranty against defects.
Appointment Cancellation Policy

12.1 Customers may cancel appointments up to 1 day in advance without incurring any fees.
12.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 5% cancellation fee of the total cost of the scheduled repair.
Accessories

13.1 Tech Guru LLC is not responsible for any accessories left behind by customers during the repair process. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all accessories are collected before leaving the premises or arranging for mail-in repairs.
Intellectual Property Rights

14.1 Tech Guru LLC retains all intellectual property rights to logos, content, images, videos, and social media content associated with Tech Guru LLC.
Prosecution Rights

15.1 Tech Guru LLC retains the right to prosecute any person or company that willfully impersonates, claims to be, or claims association with Tech Guru LLC without Tech Guru LLC’s knowledge or permission.
